The Morning After

A few knocks on the door woke me up this morning. It was Moja, waking me up for breakfast. Half-asleep, I looked at my watch - it was 8.4oam. So I took a bath, while Hazim and Moja waited for me. Then we walked to the dining hall. Decent morning conversation took place. I've always enjoyed morning conversations. Something nice to start the day. Normally, if it involves the two of them, the topic has alwasy been about politics. I'm not a big fan of politics, mind you, I'm just there to listen. Sundays in the college has always been dull. Well, not today fortunately. The hamper in the common room is the reason why.

I am the housecaptain of Garnet. And being a leader, I must say leadership has been treating me harshly this few weeks. We're not really in good terms I suppose. May in KYUEM is not a pleasant time to relax. In fact, April was no different either. With Evening with Diamond, Garnet and Sapphire held back to back every Wednesday, it has been a very tiring month for everyone. And yesterday was the 10th Year College Anniversary celebration. The event was held at the Great Hall. Three interhouse competitions were set for houses to compete. Table decorating, main performance, and the new arrangement of the college song.
